MHESI Permanent Secretary Presents Certificates of Appreciation to Directors of the Hub of Talents and Hub of Knowledge at MHESI Fair 2025

On 16 August 2025, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI), through the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), held a Certificate of Appreciation Ceremony to honor the directors of the Hub of Talents and the Hub of Knowledge for their contributions to the MHESI Fair 2025. The event was held at Mini Stage – Zone B, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), Bangkok.

The ceremony was presided over by Prof. Dr. Supachai Pathumnakul, Permanent Secretary of MHESI, who expressed appreciation to the directors of the Centers, while Dr. Wiparat De-Ong, Director of NRCT, delivered a summary report on the exhibition and conference activities showcased at the fair.

Prof. Dr. Supachai Pathumnakul stated: “The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation would like to express its sincere gratitude to all stakeholders who contributed research and innovation under the operations of the Hub of Talents and Hub of Knowledge, showcased at the ‘MHESI Fair 2025’ through exhibitions and academic conferences. This platform serves as a significant venue for disseminating achievements and raising public awareness. The network-driven collaboration between researchers and organizations is a key mechanism in positioning Thailand as a hub for science, research, and innovation at both the national and international levels. These Hubs play a vital role in enhancing competitiveness and addressing strategic challenges to ensure sustainable development based on science, technology, and innovation. MHESI fully supports these efforts and firmly believes that this collaboration will continue to grow, advancing Thailand’s science, research, and innovation to meet the challenges of the 21st century.”

Dr. Wiparat De-Ong added: “NRCT has established and supported the Hub of Talents and Hub of Knowledge to foster research and innovation networks, serving as specialized knowledge platforms addressing global challenges effectively. These initiatives aim to strengthen national competitiveness and improve quality of life. Showcasing research and innovation at this year’s fair reflects significant progress in integrating collaboration across sectors. NRCT presented outputs from 51 Centers—33 in exhibitions under five categories: Future Technology, Environment, Agriculture, Health, and Society, under the theme ‘Hub of Talents & Knowledge for The Future’, along with 53 academic conference sessions, including seminars and training programs. This demonstrates the strength of Thailand’s research community and its ability to integrate efforts across all sectors, creating a platform for learning, inspiration, and collaboration that will guide the nation toward a future built on a solid foundation of knowledge.”

The Certificate of Appreciation Ceremony recognized and encouraged the efforts of the Hub of Talents and Hub of Knowledge directors in driving forward Thailand’s research and innovation ecosystem. This recognition highlights their pivotal contributions to the “MHESI Fair 2025: SCI POWER FOR FUTURE THAILAND”, fostering meaningful partnerships and advancing the nation’s strategic research and innovation agenda.
