On July 7, 2026, the Center for Crime Science warmly welcomed a delegation from the People’s Police Academy, Vietnam, on the occasion of attending a lecture and engaging in knowledge exchange on Crime Science at the Royal Police Cadet Academy.

The lecture aimed to present the concept of “Crime Science” as a discipline that applies scientific methods, data, empirical evidence, and multidisciplinary knowledge to understand how crime occurs and how we can design effective measures to reduce opportunities for crime.

he Center for Crime Science is committed to advancing its mission in three key areas:
• Knowledge development and research
• Capacity building for law enforcement personnel
• Public dissemination of knowledge to raise awareness on crime
Under the vision of becoming a “Hub of Knowledge in Crime Science for ASEAN,” the Center serves as a platform to connect research, policy, and practice, supporting sustainable crime prevention and management in Thailand and across the ASEAN region.
